STUDENT CATEGORIES
Who can submit a nomination? Students and Staff Who can be nominated? Students You can nominate more than one student in ANY of the categories, and you can also nominate the same student in different categories where relevant.
Student of the Year
A student who has demonstrated a positive impact on the professional and/or personal development of themselves or others throughout the academic year.
Collaboration
A student who goes beyond the borders of their own classroom to interact with other classes/organisations/departments on projects or campaigns and bring them together in meaningful way.
Student Inclusion Champion
A student who has championed equality, diversity and inclusion - no matter someone’s background, their situation, or choices they are included, they are respected, and they are heard.
Class Rep of the Year
A Class Rep who has engaged on every level with the College and the Student Association for their class or self-defined group. Making sure their class issues and praises are heard from the rooftops.
Student Enterprise
A student led event or project that has been successful, showing creativity, engaged well with students/staff or raised money for their course/charity.
STAFF CATEGORIES
Who can submit a nomination? Students Who can be nominated? FVC Departments or staff members (corporate/academic) Students can nominate more than one Department or staff member.
Team of the Year (Student Vote)
A department that has worked together well with their students, shown real engagement and/or went above and beyond to provide student support.
Academic Staff Member of the Year (Student Vote)
An academic staff member who has worked well with their students, giving students the opportunity to be more creative/innovative and/or supported them well throughout their course.
Corporate Staff Member of the Year (Student Vote)
Any staff member (who is not academic staff) who has gone above and beyond to enhance the student experience through support and guidance, extra curricular activities, projects and/or events.
