It is important for election candidates and students to be aware of the rules during an election: 

• Candidates can't create their own social media posts to campaign
• Candidates should not remove, replace or deface any other candidates posters
• Candidates must not replace or partially cover any Forth Valley College posters such as Health and Safety or any important information that students will need to be aware of.
• Candidates are not allowed to hand out any freebies during their campaign.
• Students must be able to vote independently. Candidates cannot invite students to vote on a device they or their team have.
• All campaigning materials (posters, flyers, manifesto etc) must be approved first by the Returning Officer.
