Forth Valley College students receive free period products - these can be picked up on any of the three campuses (Falkirk, Stirling and Alloa).  

The Scottish Government is funding this initiative in an attempt to help tackle period poverty and so far, is the first government in the world to make free products available to all students and pupils at schools, colleges and universities. 

Products available may include sanitary pads and tampons, and also washable sanitary towels and menstruation cups, that can be easily washed out and re-used time and again, allowing students to save money and reduce the impact on the environment in these challenging times.
